Visitors enjoyed the day in attractions in indoor and external areas, while Gênesis stage continues to amaze the audience and announces new attraction for tomorrow, Saturday (July 27th)
Rio de Janeiro, July 26th – It was a great day for those who enjoyed this Friday, the second day of Game XP 2019. Visitors had the opportunity to have fun at some activities held at the world’s first GamePark, which, in this edition, is 60% bigger and with more attractions at internal and external areas.
Some visitors brought their friends along and had a blast, such as Leonardo Chuen, 15, and Larissa Fernandes, 19, two friends who were shaking on the way out of the Fortnite: Queda Livre. “It was so high! It was very tense, but at the same time enjoyable”, said Larissa. For Michelle Lucas, 31, mother of 16-year-old teenager Kauã Lucas, the line and organization at Fortnite: Queda Livre helped the event stand out. “They were really well prepared! Everything worked perfectly”.
At Oi Game Arena, eSports fans were deeply immersed in each moment of the championships. The arena’s opening ceremony featured a true acrobat show in a performance carried out on stage. The first match of the day was the Counter-Strike University Tournament (TUES) final, in a game between PUC-Campinas Cardinals and Anhembi eSports. It was a tough match, which only ended after the third map. Anhembi had a higher score and won the title with a tight 16x13 score. Then it was time to watch the showmatch Legends of League of Legends on the world's biggest game screen. Amigos de Kami team, led by the well-known PaiN Gaming pro player, played against Amigos do Shevii2k team, led by Flamengo eSports’s pro player, in a game between renowned streamers. The much desired Game XP sword-trophy went to the Kami team, who showed unparalleled performance.
Everyone remained in the arena to watch the thrilling performance of stone rockers from Scalene. Fans applauded a lot and sang along with the band. The day ended with the Rainbow Six Brasileirão Championship semi-finals with Black Dragons going against Ninjas in Pajamas in a game which kept the arena filled of visitors excited to watch the match.
Inova Stage promoted another day full of lectures on topics involving technology and gaming universe. To talk about entrepreneurship, 18-year old Davi Peixoto Braga was a special guest who came with a lotto tell about his own experience as a young entrepreneur. When Davi was 13, he realized his mother's difficulty in managing to purchase his school supplies in time and saw a business opportunity there, thus creating a startup that facilitates the entire process of purchasing this kind of product. Five years later now, the young entrepreneur joined Forbes Under 30, a list of the most influential young people in Brazil under the age of 30. During the chat, Davi gave tips for entrepreneurship and highlighted the challenge of earning credibility so young.
At GamePlay Arena 2, Beatriz Lima, 20, said in her second visit to Game XP that the event had not lost its charm. “Just like last year, it was really fun. The experience is quite good and the event is worth visiting, especially for the augmented reality games, which I enjoy a lot. I found the Warner stand dedicated to 'Harry Potter Wizards United' very entertaining and interactive. It allows you to download the game, make simulations, take photos, and play with people who are here. The experience was worth it!”, she said excitedly.
Genesis Stage’s first attraction was the singer IZA, who drove fans crazy singing several of her hits, such as "Dona de Mim". She also included a tribute to pop diva Lady Gaga, with the "Bad Romance" hit. DJ Myste proved she could play another mind-blowing concert just like she did the night before, making the crowd dance to the beat of her electronic music. Dubdogz, formed by twins Marcos and Lucas Schmidt, featured a setlist of songs that mixes sounds from Deep House to Nu Disco.
Tomorrow, the stage schedule promises to surprise the audience. In addition to the attractions already announced – Projota, DJ Myste, Zeeba Feat. Rivkah, and Game XP Orchestra –the stage will feature a new announcement: DJ Rivkah's solo performance, starting at 3:30 p.m. The artist is only 11 years old and has already earned her space in the electronic music scene and in the heart of many Brazilian celebrities with a concert full of attitude and quality music.

Game XP was first held in Rock in Rio 2017 and have established itself as Latin America’s greatest game event. In 2018, Game XP had its first official solo edition, having become the world’s first GamePark.
